Sorry to Rob for my mis-spelling of his name in blog 7, always unforgiveble not to check a persons name.
I also went through the Bands profiles again today just as a reminder to myself of who they are individually and what brought them here. From ALL of their backgrounds I must admit to a feeling of naivete( correct spelling folks ,I checked) when singing their praises, they have all been around this scene many, many more years than I have, so perhaps much of my enthusiasm is water off a ducks back to most of the listeners. If so, thats just tough luck unless YOU can come up with better ways to help this band move forward and get the recognition they deserve as The SoTight Band and help get them more gigs. This is a very TOUGH city musically speaking (although I am given to understand this has not always been the case), venues are not plentiful and for various reasons ( having to go through agents etc) those that ARE here, the band at this time cannot play at.
They will help themselves a great deal by producing a CD and better Publicity and that is where I see this blog being of real help as we go along as it is my intention send it to various places, such as the Georgia Straight and many others ( suggestions please) and get some FREE publicity
Get involved people, it would be very sad if they were forced to break up because WE did not do our part.

No problem Richard,I'm such a bad speller myself I didn't notice my own name mis-spelled .I would like to thank you Richard for all the great words of wisdom and getting this blog fired up. It's an absolute joy to play music for our fans an seeing a smile on every ones face . Thanks to our fans for all the support . Rob ( Bobby thanks to Nadine)
Oops, I just finished typing a long bit about how I love the band and the energy of their fans and followers. I talked about how I love Miss Nadine and how her voice soothes the soul. Really it was quite a creative piece I wrote. I talked about how I try to stay away from the Saturday afternoon at Rossini's because I have so much to do on weekends like household chores, errands and grocery shopping. Then I raved about the band and why I can't stay away (also mentioned how it is not just because I am married to 1/6th of them, Cliff, as to why I love them) really it was quite creative. Then I said something clever at the end about my house being a mess, my errands going undone and my kids starving (the kids are 20 and can actually fend for themselves so won't actually starve) with no groceries because I just can not stay away from Rossini's as I love to soak up all that fun. It was really quite clever, then I went to post it and it disappeared because I did not have a Goggle account first! So now I have one (something you must do first before posting on the blog) and will post this. Bottom line is, keep up the good fun SoTight, I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than at Rossini's with Miss Nadine and the SoTight Band.
Great show this past saturday. The band sounded polished and the new material was a nice added touch. Robbie rocked on his new wine colored bass and sang his butt off on mustang sally, well done! Hopefully we can hear more lead vocals on ocassion from the fellas. This group keeps getting better and better and we are so blessed to be part of it as fans. See you this sat may 5th at rossinis
